Established nine years ago, our first halaqah, through Allah’s permission, continues to grow, nurturing generations of huffadh, Qur'an teachers and imams. Moreover, many more Halaqāt of the same format have been started around London. These gatherings emphasize the etiquettes of teaching and learning, as passed down from the Prophet ﷺ, his companions, and the righteous predecessors.
It is essential to us that these halaqat go beyond the mere correction of letters, ensuring they are infused with life through tarbiyah (nurturing) and tazkiyah (purification). Our goal is for everyone to embody the Qur’an, much like the Prophet ﷺ, whose character was described by Aisha (RAA) as: “His character was the Qur’an” (Muslim). This is the aspiration we seek to nurture in our halaqat—producing reciters and teachers who not only perfect their recitation but also live by the Qur’an, reflecting its teachings in both their words and actions.
